Catherine (Cate) Oranchak, a LEED accredited professional, has been practicing landscape architecture for over 30 years. Her varied experience spans projects of all shapes and sizes: urban, institutional, corporate, housing and residential in both the public and private realms. Her recent work includes landscape improvements at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Massachusetts; an affordable housing development in Wellfleet, Massachusetts and an improved entry for the Wakefield Arboretum in Milton, Massachusetts. Her work is founded on the belief that landscape architecture is a craft; balancing natural and man-made materials embracing both artistic and utilitarian sensibilities. In all projects, Cate strives to build enduring landscapes for the experience of all.
